Empowering a Nomadic Life

Connect, create, and thrive with stories, tools, and community for nomads, explorers, and seekers of non-conventional living.

The stories of nomads are unique and often complex. Some of us are explorers, others are trying to survive. The forces that make us travel or be transitory are as varied as hues of a Crayola box. Nomads by choice or by necessity, our journeys range from life shifts to daily shuffles of place.

“2B Nomadic,” a collection of multi-thread, interactive digital publications, is rich beyond stories of nomadic journeys. We share mobile and non-traditional lifestyles as paths to explore sustained living. These experiences, from many perspectives, can fuel our nomadic journeys. The depth and interactivity of our stories vary by platform.

"Mountains from the top of a mountain." That was my first murmur after, 'Wow.' This range is called Kauai Grand Canyons. Way, way down in the valley, a goat was trying to climb the ridge."

Enriching Nomads

“2B Nomadic” brings tools that nurture healthy experiences and trampoline-bounce over toxic experiences. These digital publications explore life on the road, life in transition, and mobile living. “2 B Nomadic” has new content most days, on one platform or another. Subscribe to our shorts which preview the week.

We stimulate conversations about how not to getting stuck, literally or figuratively, and how to thrive while mobile and to take on new skillsets. Goals are to inspire and to problem solve. These productions extend beyond static prose. Share, reflect, interact. This is a living journal of travelers of not just road miles, but mental exits, spiritual entrances, and creative solutions. There are relatable epiphanies as well as perspectives you may have not considered.

Budget Conversion Pt 1,
17-Day Rental

We roll through Instagram and see these conversions with seemingly unlimited, or at least fewer limits, than our own means. Conversions are about what works for you, at this time in your life, with the goals, challenges, resources at hand. This is a two part series on low-budget vehicle conversions. The first was a recent two-week rental. Just a typical “minivan” which are actually just SUV’s plus 2 inches. The second will feature Bertha, a 24-year old Yukon XL that would be worth a fortune if rust had market value.

On the Road and NOT Broke and NOT Stressed

The road brings many elements. Some of these are financial and unexpected. Episode One highlighted on limiting financial calamity during a calamity. Episode Two is in two parts. This one focuses on being ready for the calamity. The second half will post in a few days and suggest ways of giving a bigger margin.

The times I have followed my own advice are when I smiled inside. Other times my head dropped wishing I had.

  • A little planning, a lot less stress

  • The unexpected not a nightmare

  • Options to the sign by the road

Texas and I and a love-hate relationship. It loves to send me to repair shops and I hate the frequency of transfers from savings.

Another stranding in Texas. By having the Good Sam Ultimate, I was able to get my vehicle and trailer towed together on a single service call.
